He said there is no way to tell if the unit required. It is totally wrong. The digital readout will indicate the level of moisture in the air, but if one of the empty bottles is an "F" appears on the left or right to tell you that the bottle must be filled on this page. This unit is definitely work, but is quite fragile and it is very noisy. With an effective humidifier This humidifier Thomas does an incredible job.
