It was an interesting form, which does look cool on my dresser. I liked the fact that it was good, so that the fog was later released in the room. Oscillating the nozzle at the top was great to distribute the mist into the room. He also produced a good amount of fog in the highest setting. Why do I have again two of these units? One word - NOISE. The first use of the first unit seemed stronger to me than the store (I bought the unit at Bed Bath and Beyond). After a few days of use it got louder. The noise is made as a turbine or fan sound has a bad influence. It was not super strong, but was strong enough to try to sleep during the night unusable. Thought it was a defective unit, because he exchanged for another device, such as. The second unit was quiet at first, but within two days the same noise started to grow So I traded against a price comparable model Germ Gaurdian. Have not used enough yet to make a recommendation, but out of the box was much quieter than the Homedics units ever. It 'been very quiet so far. Could it be that both units from a bad batch that was delivered to the store, but I was really disappointed with the noise level for a unit of an ultrasound little 'expensive. The two other critics say both the unit is very quiet, so it might be the case. I would say it was quieter than my old Vicks humidifier. Burns just got this humidifier and rocks! its pretty big, but I found a place to do it. the size and height, space is not so easy to find a place. Its also very quiet, unlike other humidifiers ive used. the warm mist setting is warm, not as a heating element, which is also perfect, the light is there but not glowing like an unwanted night light (I want to sleep in the darkest dark, and it does not, t bother me) highly recommended and well worth the money esp if you can not handle the evil dry heated air! I love this humidifier. I have a ton of different machines over the years and let's face it, they all kind of suck. You take a piece of floor space, they are cumbersome to get the filter / machine ugly after a while, and you again have to fill it every day. Firstly, it has a nice design. They would not be embarrassed to have this one sitting in the middle of your living room to be. It's great, but another said it is big, but not broad. And because you can spray or run it directly, you can use it almost anywhere without worrying about the walls of the reservoir has enough water for at least a few days. There are no large filter - a filter for demineralisation small - and I love you a choice of hot steam and cold.
