High steam output - is clearly visible. It's like a smoke machine! "WOW!" 2nd Mist volume control - many levels fog third Large water tank (20 hours operation) 4. Address verification 5th It comes with a custom filter - but if you use distilled water will not have to use the filter. It is quiet, but is not strong in any way. I can sleep uninterrupted by him. My old humidifier offers the same noise level, but my main humidifier provides a different frequency that disturbs my sleep. The Vick is far superior to my old man. Good ultrasonic humidifier! Paine DACOB I read all the reviews for this model, V-5100-NS, and most of the critics of his model sister, V-5100-N. I think it's clear that without a service at least once a week - that is, a thorough cleaning, probably with diluted white vinegar to remove the accumulation of this unit will eventually fail. Finally, I model V-5100-NS for a while and I am very happy with it, generating a consistent stream of cold fog, and the fan is really quiet.
