This Emerson Humidifier filter features honeycomb filtration to trap mineral pollutants found in water and help prevent them from entering the air and fits models HD1100, HD1102, HD1200, HD12001, HD1202, HD1204, HD1212, HD1214, HD12040, HD12041, HD1300, HD1301, HD13000, HD13002, HD1303, HD13003, HD1300W, HD13030, HD1305, HD13050, HD1405, HD1406, HD14060 HD14070, and HD230. It also features a patented rigid support long-lasting design, with an antimicrobial agent, and has 4 filters per box. Measures approximately 6 1/2 x 9 x 2 1/2. For optimum performance, replace filter twice a season.

Having extras on hand is a good idea, too. I wasn't able to find filters readily available locally, and the price was astronomical. These filters were reasonably inexpensive. Duck I originally intended to purchase the OEM brand filter but the price difference (approx 3x the price) made me look at this one. It's a perfect fit, it seems to wick water well, and it has a metal mesh exterior that holds it's shape. If you are on the fence because this filter is not made by Essick or Kenmore don't be, this one works fine. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Nice filter. Excellent wick filter with a metal mesh to provide rigidity. By Samuel A I was a bit hesitant to purchase these off brand filters for my humidifier at first but I am glad I did. They are far and away better than the Sears brand I was using and are much more reasonably priced. The Sears brand would start to sag after a couple of weeks and then shortly fall apart. These filters have a metal mesh on the outside which provides enough rigidity to keep them locked in place and from falling apart. I have hard water, and my 10-gallon humidifier gets this water. It's not worth trying to use my kitchen water purifier to get soft water.Anyway, this product works as described. I always buy them in bulk, as I don't know when the filters gets that musty smell and have to be replaced.
