Honeywell Humidifiers and Filter Review humidifier works well and easy. The filter is easy to install and replace the humidifier. A problem arises when you need to buy new replacement filters. They are almost impossible to find and the only source appears to be the manufacturer. This is the most expensive method and requires a waiting period that is not good when the lips are all chapped and your hands are red and raw from the drought. I suggest that the company has a permanent filter. Some humidifiers have them. Worst filter I've ever bought this Honeywell humidifier filter from Amazon for several years. They have always been a very good performance products to my last purchase. The last filter I got was about 1 / 2 thickness of them bought in the past and only took about 2 1 / 2 weeks. The price was about the same as my last purchase, but the performance of these filters was pathetic. Amazon and Kaz (supplier) should be ashamed seems that there are giving half the proceeds from the first and for the same price. I mainly blame that Kaz and I hope that this review will save other consumers worse. If I could give 0 stars I would. I will never buy the product on Amazon again ..

Bait & Switch? I ordered a MAF-1 Emerson Humidifier Filters MoistAir and had a sub named BestAir Humidwick. When I said that would come back, she said she should be as good as the originals. I have no way of knowing until I use them! That means I will not know until about two months on the road. Works well I also got a brand BestAir not MoistAIR advertised brand .... It is shorter than the Kenmore brand I should use, but it works well in our humidifyer. It has a wire-type conformation "frame" for a higher gain, and it costs much less than the Kenmore brand. This, combined with humidifyer treatment I've found for $ 2 a bottle at Walmart is doing a much cheaper way to our house humidity is high. Remember that you should treat as your filter humidifyer gum up or become yellow and hard ... That means your hard water and water can not wick up filster. Not a real filter Emerson! Although the description clearly states "Moist Emerson Humidifier Filter", which I actually received was a "hu-Wick RPS product best" alternative to other brands. I feel this is deceptive and fraudulent - The description must include language that "this is not a true and Emerson," or something to that effect. Since there seems to be of equal quality for elk, I would not mind too much if they actually fit properly! Unfortunately, it is almost two inches too short in length so that the end will not be head to head against each other over. To work properly, I had to grab both ends and extend it to long before installation. This should not be necessary and it is not true with filters Emerson. I will certainly not be buying these from Amazon ever again ... "Replacement" does not necessarily mean "true" Ask him if this is a real filter before ordering. What I wanted I needed filters for my humidifier filters and they do the job. The only reason I give it 4 instead of 5 out of 5 stars is that it took a bit '(almost 2 weeks) to get my filters. Everything arrived in excellent condition and fit perfectly the humidifier. The humidifier filter replacement product is OK. It 's the same height and length of a normal filter Sears, but it is much more subtle. This means that we have to change more often than a regular filter Sears. The cost is much lower, so that certainly counts for something. I have not decided if I will order again or not.

Just OK My advice is to keep the original cap in case you choose, this filter is not for you. He managed to stop mineral deposits accumulate more on the side of the tank, but won the water using a musty smell after 15 gallons / three weeks. I disinfect with chlorine water every two weeks. He was particularly warm in heated rooms. The risk of bacterial growth outweighs the benefits of the filter for me and I do not recommend this product. If you are serious about these humidifiers, use distilled water. So you will not need these filters. Information about the white powder, I mean literally everywhere, in the DVD player, for example. I stopped all the Crane humidifiers and put them on. I was very sad for this because they are so cute. They did raise the humidity around 10%.

Good product you can say about a humidifier filter? It was, as advertised. Fast shipping and hassle free. It did not last long. This filter is undoubtedly a major blow to the dollar, but do not expect it to last more than a month. Humidifier wick replacement - inevitably necessary {Note: HWF100 BWF100 Bionaire Holmes &} are interchangeable, I bought a humidifier Bionaire that uses 2 of these locks. They are a necessary evil because the humidifier can not work without them. My humidifier (Bionaire BCM645 a) is basically a bowl of water glorified self-filling, with a pair of strands dangle in the water in the lower back of the camera ... wicks to absorb (to evacuate actually a vertical pipe with a fan to the place with a humidistat) to increase the water and the air humidifier sucks air through the body, cross out the locks to humidified air to blow ... is a simple design that works sorta. The problem is that mineral deposits in these glorified (and expensive) sponges, and their ability to wick up water rapidly lose enough to keep the evaporation ... The result is that they are dehydrated and crisp (and mildly stained with mold), and just stay wet on the part is submerged in the water now, here's the tedious part, and why I only gave this product 3 out of 5 stars. . . they unnecessarily vulnerable by design. The manufacturer wants you to keep buying new reguloarly fungi, such as inkjet printer manufacturers want you to continue selling expensive ink cartridges. Although I still quite soft water and use a carbon filter, these blades seem to only last me about 2 weeks a few, standard, before they lose their ability to absorb / wick moisture and / or fall apart. Maybe one day someone will more prolonged reusable cloth filter to replace, but as of this writing, do not seem to be any available ... because it is against the fiscal rules of the relevant manufacturer to produce and sell. They are another brand that comes close to fitting some Relion humidifier models. However, the filter is not as big as a real Relion WF813 filter so that it does not really fit so well it should. These are BestAir brand filters, and the box shows the humidifier models that fit these filters, and Relion is not one of them. These filters are probably the job, but this ad is misleading. I'm not going to buy from this seller. not the same, it was not the same as what came in the box ... dimensions are slightly different. yes it works but it is not the same. I would not buy again.

Great Filter! I bought this thinking that filters were made of Holmes, it is not. This was not a problem even as I have other filters from this company before. The company is the Beast (aka Endust). The material around the filter is not the usual black and silver, but looking and I think it's made of metal and very strong. It is also coated with an antibacterial agent. I would definitely new for this filter. Humidifier effective but high cost of living, I have a Sunbeam SCM1702 now off. Sunbeam humidifiers wick is apparently made of Holmes with a few minor cosmetic differences. These filters are very effective and last longer than the old ones they replace. But they cost more, and like the elderly by allowing them to run out reduces their life. These humidifiers are much less efficient than the older like Sears, which is 6x size. But everyone I've seen are relatively noisy. Given the cost of the filers and electricity for the fan of a similar capacity ultrasonic humidifier is cheaper after about 8 months use, and you continue to save money every month thereafter if the ultrasound they cool the air and because they are great, but in summer the majority of moisture problems around here in winter and significantly above the cost of heating.
