Reed ultrasonic humidifier I bought this a year ago for my two children, who seem to always be crowded, either cold or seasonal allergies or dry air of our A / C. Before that, we passed a couple of humidifiers (cold or warm mist) per season, or because it broke, he did a good job, leaked, or were too difficult to clean. This humidifier works like a dream and is very easy to clean. I love that I can rotate the output to the desired amount of fog. It is super quiet, too. I know others have said they had problems with them or be too noisy noisy after a while, but I did not have this problem. I also read that some complain of the demineralization cartridge is not working for as long or cost too much. I can not agree and sympathize, but people ... and You do not need to buy, use the cartridge simply distilled water. It does the same work, and you can choose Gallong jugs from the grocery store. During this humidifier is easy to clean, the manufacturer recommends that you clean the tank every two to three weeks - and the water supply and ultrasonic nebulizers, behind a cover are made of POPs. Different level settings to work properly - is not only a high, med, low - is a disk rotation, so it is easy to get the exact output you want. We found that a mid-high level will keep your room in a nice fluid and the tank will take 3-4 days (runs only at night). Noise level is almost silent The best part? The inside doesn't get a disgusting since it's ultrasonic - so no more daily cleaning! After a month of use I opened the thing up to scrub it down, and there was barely any residue or film to clean. The negatives? You will get the "white dust" around the room if you don't put demineralization tablets in a on monthly basis, and having a cool mist can be a little chilling in the winter until your heating catches up with it. All in all we highly recommend this humidifier.
