After placing the filter inside and turn, a strong smell filled the room. I had to open windows to ventilate the room because they do not inhale the smell was a good idea. Since it was the room of my bird, I'm sure he would get sick or worse. I think the problem lies in the Protec antimicrobial treatment. Great works of the new mom, we have bad water that can transform these unpleasant color filters quickly, but it seems to me the means to do its job. Not sure if it was the right product by Isabelle R Zimmerman wanted was a description of what the product is made of, for instance, this product is plastic.
