The filter paper traps more tap water chemicals, so it is easy to clean. Can I change the filter once a season. The low, the fan is quiet and unobtrusive. Baliles humidifier I bought this about 2 months ago. I am satisfied. I tried 3 others before buying this. The ones I tested before they were noisy. If you put it up too high, but the bass is very quiet. Yes, the gurgling of water does, but only occasionally, and it is not so bad. I plan to buy another, because when you love a product that always interrupt or "improve" And I like this humidifier because it is evaporating, no fog, no white powder. I also like that does not have the light on it to disturb me while I sleep. I use it only at night. I do not know how much moisture it produces, but it keeps my throat moist all night. The tank is very easy to fill and position of the camera, and I just have to fill all other nights. The filter does not need to be changed again. Trying different units, I was surprised that so many were so poorly designed and noisy. I was so happy to find it. I highly recommend it. Get two while you're there.
