With Ivona Datkova To save just take the filters and soak them in white vinegar and warm water for about 15 minutes (or longer if very dirty). You hear some effervescence by the chemical reaction (as if you put vinegar and baking soda together.) So ... Presto! It was as clean as new! 3 of 3 people found this review helpful. They do not need. By Martin Heinsdorf not need it. I bought a Sunbeam SCM2401 tabletop humidifier in a local store. It worked fine for 3 days, so the meter is small filter attached to the side of "Change", which shows that the wick filter was dirty, and the humidity in my room was only 20%. Sure enough, the wick was completely dry and there was a line of rust at the waterline. So I washed the wall with running water and cleaned with a brush. Restored to only a few hours. OK, so I'll just buy a replacement screw What! $ 6 more? For a piece of cotton? The humidifier assembly costs only $ 18! I lived in my apartment to dry for a few days and then had an idea: paper towels are very absorbent. What happens if I have 2 squares of paper towel folded and alumni around the drill, like a sandwich shaped like a U, so that the paper towel soaked in water level and the parties?
