Really help with the white powder I would not want to use these, but the area is alive in the hardest water I've ever met. Even with a softening minerals remain and create a large quantity of white powder without these. Useful if you live in an area with hard water and do not want to spend a fortune on bottled water. Honeywell Demineralization Cartridge Humidifier 2 piece for the product came in very good and seems to fit the humidifier much lower price than the purchase of Honeywell on the phone. The new DC102 demineralizer cartridges work very well. As soon as I replaced and cleaned unit was up and running well again. Good trading.
