Replacement humidifier filter fits Sears Kenmore humidifier models 758.144105, 758.144115. Replaces original Kenmore part number 42-14906
Amazon Sales Rank: #48642 in Kitchen & Housewares Brand: BestAir Model: 42-14906 Wick filter to fit Kenmore models 14410, 14411 (14906) Wick filter to fit Emerson MA0950, MA1200 (MAF-1)
A good product This review is a filter that goes inside a humidifier. Call a filter is a little misleading, because it really does not filter the air or water. He really acts like a sponge strong support for retaining water in it and draw air through it. The air is forced through the filter (which is, essentially, sitting in a tray of water) is saturated with water, which increases the humidity in your home. This is a replacement filter is the manufacturer of Kenmore humidifier. There are some minor differences between the "Sears" filter and to the secondary market, but nothing that would prevent me from buying. For example, the "Kenmore" brand filter with staples or tape to keep the filter in a circle, when the humidifier. The presumption is that the filter paper soaked could fall over or something. Do not worry. The filter is reinforced with suitable materials to prevent them from losing their shape. Bottom line here, this filter does the work, is more accessible and cheaper than "name brand" that people think about other things more than you ** really ** want to know what "Legionnaires' disease" is? If you did anything wrong use of a humidifier may be the result. Ever leave a wet sponge in a sink for a long time? It gets annoying. It can hold lots of bacteria and odor. Use an antibacterial additive to the water once a week. Also throw (or replace it if you live in Alaska) filter at the end of the season. Clean your humidifier (with filter removed) before the summer. Otherwise you have a much bigger and meaner job next winter! Kenmore filters do NOT think you should buy! I bought five of these filters, I think "Sears Kenmore Humidifier Wick Filter, 42-14906," as advertised in the listing title and details of the product ("Item model number: 42-14906). Instead I got an off brand filter, the brand BestAir HumidiWick filter, which requires matching the Kenmore 14410 humidifier The title and product description are very misleading. I give this two stars instead of just one star and it was delivered quickly. Worked as expected it worked as expected. Each filter lasts about 5-6 weeks. I usually back the sock filter on its head after a few weeks of use ..
