Keep your home properly hydrated with Honeywell's HCM-6009 9-gallon-output-per-day humidifier, which is designed for rooms up to 2300 square feet. A humidifier is helpful in introducing moisture to your home in order to help you avoid dry skin, chapped lips, dry nasal passages and static electricity as well as keep your wood floors and furnishings in good shape. Easy to clean, carry and fill, the HCM-6009 runs up to 24 hours on one filling. This QuietCare model has a fan that blows out invisible, moisture-balanced air, and is 30 percent quieter than other models. It features an Air Washing pre-filter that helps to trap dust, dirt and pollen before it enters the main filter. The Protec cleaning cartridge helps reduce mineral build-up, while the antimicrobial-treated filter helps prevent the growth and migration of mold, fungus, algae and bacteria on the filter--both contributing to a fresher, cleaner mist and extend filter life. Other features include a 3-1/4-gallon tank capacity, 9 gallons of humidity output per day, 3 moisture output settings, adjustable humidity control, and automatic shut-off. The HCM-6009 comes with caster wheels for easy movement around your home. It measures 21 by 17-1/2 by 13 inches (WxHxD), is backed by a 3-year warranty, and uses HC-14 replacement filters.
Product Terrible One might think that the documentation of the product you are buying a humidifier that has a 9-liter tank of water. Not true. You buy a humidifier that has a capacity of 9 liters of water for 24 hours. As each tank is only 1.5 liters, it means you have to fill the tanks to six times (three times each tank) to maximize performance. It is not very practical for a humidifier at home. Filling the tank with water to turn upside down. Unfortunately, the bottom (ie the top upside down), not flat. This requires a lot of juggling to fill the tank, that will stand up for themselves. The engineer who designed this product must have missed class in ergronomics. Since you can not see the water tanks in use, and not an indicator of low water in the machine, you can not judge how much water is watching. You must pick up the tanks. Again ergronomically challenging. This product is very noisy in high definition, as a fan window above, because the water tanks do not fit well, vibrate when they are almost empty. If you put this product on a wooden floor, skewing the soil moisture. The product also leak when reloading. It is better to spend this product. Form and function of the professionals and cons really deliberated on this issue, with three or four hours of walking. I decided on four, because the bottom line that does a good job getting moisture in the air and some design elements work well. For example, it is on wheels so it is easy to move and fill the water containers are manageable. They had the ForSight two at once and the handles are comfortable. Now for some negative aspects. At the highest setting is too high. I live in a condo, so if I'm watching TV is usually held the second largest in the settings or use headphones and keep it at the highest level. Here's another problem of noise when it starts to become empty, a loud humm begins another thing I like is that you can not control or see what is the humidity level is opened just outside. I think this feature is available on larger models, but it seems like it should be available on it for the price they ask. Probably the biggest problem I have with this unit has a side discharge to air, rather than from the top like most units. It 's a problem for me because when I watch TV usually sit on the floor (TV on a chimney it would never work for me) and this unit blows out cold air and is quite uncomfortable. You could make an appeal to move it elsewhere, but for maximum benefit, should be stored where you spend most of your time. So there you have it. I should probably give it three stars, but does what he must do his own good with some design issues. It has worked before I went cheap and bought a small unit of evaporation. The large scale filter was "stable", but necessary and take account of the small filter pump is maintained then I bought a hot steamer destroyed, he worked at first and when the continuous operation provided only get to the level of moisture maintained. After having my electricity bill, I kept using it. Finally, I bought this unit. Works perfectly, keeps the house at the level I want (45%) and only turns on automatically when needed. The water tanks are also nice to double. I suggest you get a unit rated at least double the square footage of your home ..
