Best to buy packaged separately to buy this product, not pearls. It is almost impossible to get the ball itself, excellent product This product works very well. It is much needed for hard water. To spend a pretty hefty price for the humidifier and then not use the aid product would not be wise. Excellent product I am very happy with Air-O-Swiss humidifier. It is easy to clean, well-hydrated and demineralisation water filter is a big plus. I have seen no evidence of white mineral substance that I have seen with other humidifiers. I have not used the estimated lifetime is three months, but so far so good after 3 weeks.
